CHECKS AFTER INSPECTION AND MAINTENANCE:

If you forget to perform the checks after inspection and maintenance, unexpected problemsmay occur, and this may lead to serious injury or property damage. 

Always do the following:
1. Checks after operation (with engine stopped)
2. Have any inspection and maintenance points been forgotten?
3. Have all inspection and maintenance items been performed correctly?
4. Have any tools or parts been dropped inside the machine? It is particularly dangerous if parts are dropped
5. inside the machine and get caught in the lever linkage mechanism.
6. Are there any leakage of coolant or oil? Have all nuts and bolts been tightened?

Checks when running engine
When carrying out checks with the engine running, be extremely careful to ensure safety. For details, see "PRECAUTIONS FOR MAINTENANCE (PAGE 2-24)" in the SAFETY Section. Check that the locations for inspection and maintenance work properly. Raise the engine speed and check that there is no leakage of oil or fuel.
